Its mission is to offer assistance to its members, as well as outside collaborators, in the form of, but not restricted to: custom plasmid design, large scale fermentation, protein purification, biochemical characterization, and biophysical quality control. The overall philosophy of the Protein Expression Facility is to provide researchers with knowledge and expertise, tools for their work, as well as guidance and mentoring in an all-inclusive and participatory manner.
