Homelessness

The Homelessness topic includes research on the health of people experiencing homelessness. Homelessness is defined as people staying in emergency shelters; transitional housing programs; safe havens; or unsheltered locations such as in cars, on the street, or in encampments. Homelessness has been linked to various health conditions, including HIV, lung diseases, malnutrition, mental health issues, substance use, and wound and skin infections.
