Pediatric Cancer
The Pediatric Cancer topic includes research on the causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and survivorship of cancers of childhood (birth to 21 years). Although cancer in children is rare compared with cancers typically diagnosed in adults, it is still a leading cause of death from disease in this age group.
The most common types of cancers diagnosed in children are leukemias, brain and other central nervous system tumors, and lymphomas.
