The Alzheimer's Disease and Alzheimer's Disease Related Dementias Research Area represents research on Alzheimer’s Disease and/or Alzheimer’s Disease Related Dementias (AD/ADRD). The National Alzheimer’s Project Act (NAPA) of 2015 required creation and annual updates of an integrated national plan to address AD. The National Institute on Aging and the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke fund research on AD/ADRD.
